Obituary for Glenda May Zorn

On Saturday Nov. 10th surrounded by the Love of her daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Glenda May Zorn
(age 72) went to be with Our Almighty Lord.
Born Nov. 28th 1945 in Abilene to Jack H. & Letha (Billie) McMinn. Graduating Abilene High School & Abilene Business College.
While married and raising her family, Glenda had many friends as she lived in Arizona & California before settling back to Texas in the late 70’s.
She enjoyed baking, crafts, puzzles, games and was excellent at Interior Design. Always trying to better herself, she jumped on the self-help movement of the 80’s. Trying them all, success or not, she wasn’t afraid.
Glenda worked Nursing and Insurance sales but at age 60 decided to drive 18-wheelers for Watson & Fed Ex. Seeing all states and Canada. Her spirit was unstoppable. Born at 4lbs.
She was a fighter to the very last. Always a big smile no matter how she felt.
Glenda is survived by 4 children: Rhonda Smith of Abilene ; Terri Presley of McKinney ; Grover Zorn Jr. of Anson and David Zorn of Florida.
9 Grandchildren: Trisha, Tisha, Tessa, Stephen, Samantha, Averi, Bradly, Katelyn & Kourtney.
15 Great-Grandchildren with the 16th due in January and
1 Great-Great Grandchild due in March.
Glenda was a generous soul, Loving Mother and the very best
“Gma” to all her grandkiddos .
She is a Hero to many and will be missed terribly by those who loved her and knew her.
